Vi gratulerar Malcolm

The International Actuarial Association (IAA) is pleased to announce that, at its meeting on October 17, 2015 in Vancouver, the Council of the IAA elected the following individuals to serve as Officers of the IAA effective January 1, 2016.

– President: Malcolm Campbell (Sweden)
– President-Elect: Thomas S. Terry (United States)
– Immediate Past President: Frederick Rowley (Australia)

Mr. Campbell’s involvement in the work of the IAA started in 2004 as the Swedish Actuarial Society’s delegate to the Pensions & Employee Benefits Committee. Over the years, Mr. Campbell has also served as Secretary of the Life Section from 2006 to 2014, and as a member of the Enterprise and Financial Risk Committee and various task forces. He was elected as a member of the Executive Committee in 2012, and chaired the Strategic Planning Subcommittee in 2015.

”It is a great honour to have been asked to serve as IAA President and I thank the IAA member associations for the trust they have placed in me. I would also like to recognize the hard work of our Immediate Past President, Fred Rowley, who has guided the IAA through an interesting 2015. I very much plan to build on his achievements.”
