Senior actuary to BNP Paribas Cardif in Gothenburg

In Sweden, we have been active since 2000 and are today a Nordic insurance group with approximately 120 employees at the head office in Gothenburg, with sales offices in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. We develop and deliver risk insurance through partners in the Nordic markets and our main business is loan and payment protection and various types of personal insurance. We are now looking for a communicative person with an analytical mind: are you our senior of actuary in IFRS17 and Solvency II?

As senior actuary in IFRS17 and Solvency 2, you will, report directly to the Head actuarial closing for the Nordic region, and your responsibilities will be the following:
– Ensure an adequate economic and prudential actuarial closing on a regular basis, respecting the current regulatory, legal and corporate frameworks.
– Prepare actuarial studies, complying with the company’s risk / return policy.
– Guarantee the compliance with the internal actuarial guidelines of the group.
– Responsible for providing the required information for the regulator, auditors and other stakeholders.
– Responsible for Solvency II capital requirements calculation and IFRS 17 reporting.

Our wishes:

• Actuarial degree education or other master’s degree in mathematics and / or statistics
• Very good knowledge of MS office and Python.
• Knowledge of database management, such as SQL and / or Access, is preferred.
• Experience in Solvency II required.
• Experience in IFRS17 preferred.
• Fluent in English required.
• Fluency in Swedish preferred.
