Medlemsmöte 1 feb 2026: Strengthening the Value for Money

The Swedish insurance market currently offers customers a mix of traditional products alongside unit-linked solutions. In this presentation, we explore additional insurance solutions available across Europe and worldwide, with a particular focus on financial guarantees. These solutions can help insurers strengthen their competitive position – especially in light of the ongoing value for money discussions – while enabling them to deliver more individualized and flexible payout strategies to their customers.

Presentation will be followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.

Presenters
The presentation will be delivered by three speakers from Munich Re Markets, the Life & Health division of Munich Re. The team operates with a global mandate, underwriting market risk and supporting insurance companies in offering products with financial guarantees through capital-efficient structures.

• Johannes Wollenschläger – Senior Product Developer with extensive experience in the German market, specializing in the design and development of insurance products with financial guarantees.
• Vadim Lönnberg, DSA, CFA – Senior Actuary with long-standing advisory experience across Sweden and the Nordic markets, focusing on insurance savings solutions, policyholder needs, regulatory compliance, accounting, and capital efficiency.
• Matthias Westling – Founder of Munich Re’s Stockholm office, with a background as an investment banker and extensive experience in structuring investment solutions and financial guarantees.
